2020 Nissan Rogue Sport: New Technologies
The Rogue Sport will include all the technologies you’ve come to know and love over the years, but its 2020 model year will be introducing a few new features that are sure to make your rides even better. For example, if you’re the type of driver who wants to stay connected no matter where you are, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are now standard for all trims.
Also, Nissan has added the Nissan Safety Shield® 360. With this suite of technology features, you become more aware of your surroundings and experience a safer ride as a result. So, if you get a little distracted behind the wheel, the features in this system, such as Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, can help you know when to stop and slow down to help you avoid an accident.
Rear Automatic Braking also comes standard for the 2020 Rogue Sport. When you’re backing your SUV into or out of a parking spot, the feature monitors the area behind your vehicle for any objects. If you get too close, you’ll hear an alert, so you can hit the brakes in time to steer clear from it.
Power and Performance
Nissan knows not to mess around with a great thing, which is why performance for the Rogue Sport will carry over from the previous model year. For 2020, the SUV will feature a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that can produce up to 141 horsepower. It’ll also come with the innovative Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) to help you experience smooth shifts and outstanding fuel economy when you’re on the road.
To make your drives even better, the Nissan SUV will come with available all-wheel drive, too. It can quickly adapt to changing conditions, and if it senses any loss of traction, it can automatically send power to the wheels that need it most. The result? You get more control and a safer, more stable drive, when cornering and when you’re traveling through snowy conditions and slippery streets.
A New Sportier Style for 2020
The 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport may have a bunch of new technologies, but the most noticeable difference with this upcoming model will be its overall design. Providing a sleeker, more technical overall look, it features an eye-catching style that’s sure to grab your attention when you first see it. Plus, it comes with the iconic V-Motion® front grille. There will also be LED signature Daytime Running Lights, which will be perfect for style and functionality.
Drivers will also have their pick of exterior colors to really make the SUV look and feel all their own. On top of that, there will be two new bold colors for you to consider: Nitro Lime Metallic and Monarch Orange Metallic.
