2020 Nissan Versa Preview
Nissan already has plans to release more stylish and well-equipped models for 2020, and it looks like that list is growing as they introduce the all-new 2020 Versa. Slated to appear in showrooms in late summer of 2019, the latest model year has already generated a bit of buzz around Gulfport, Pascagoula, and Waveland.
If you’re one the many drivers raring to get a sneak peek of the all-new Versa, you’re in luck! Pat Peck Nissan is here with your exclusive 2020 Nissan Versa preview. Check it out below to learn more about what you can expect when you get behind the wheel of this subcompact sedan.
A Safer, Well-Equipped Nissan Versa for 2020
For 2020, Nissan is bringing the Versa to a new, more advanced age by equipping it with the most cutting-edge technologies on the market.
Its most notable feature for 2020? Standard and available Nissan Safety Shield® 360 driver-assist technologies, such as Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and available Blind Spot Warning. Engineered for safety and peace of mind, these technologies help you avoid an accident by keeping you more focused on the road ahead.
In terms of interior features, you’ll find a tablet-like touchscreen display as well as available Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ to keep you connected. Plus, with Zero Gravity front seats and optional automatic climate control, comfort becomes more of a mainstay for this subcompact sedan.
Next Generation Power and Performance
Along with a few new safety and interior features, the 2020 Nissan Versa is set to offer an upgraded powertrain, which means more potent power when you’re behind the wheel. The next generation 1.6L 4-cylinder engine will generate 122 horsepower-a big jump from 2019’s 109 horsepower-engine.
The Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) makes it way back for the 2020 model year, too, for smooth acceleration and efficient drives. Best of all, we can expect the 2020 Versa to provide a targeted EPA estimate of 40 MPG highway.1
All-New Design for 2020
Just like the rest of the restyled Nissan family, the 2020 Versa will come with a new and more dramatic and expressive exterior design. Sleeker and bolder, the subcompact sedan will feature the iconic V-Motion® front grille as well as boomerang-shaped exterior lights and a floating roof design.
Nissan is offering a few more exterior color options, too. Overall, it will feature eight exterior colors to choose from, including Electric Blue Metallic, Scarlet Ember Tintcoat, and the striking Monarch Orange Metallic.
The Versa will also be lower, wider, and longer for a more aggressive attitude without sacrificing interior space. Speaking of its interior, the cabin gets a bit of an upgrade, as well, with a beautiful “Gliding Wing” instrument panel.
